'I Can' Statements
Across the curriculum we use 'I Can' Statements to inform planning and assessment. These statement are primarily, although not exclusively, linked to the 'skills' that our children will progressively acquire as they move through the West Exmoor Federation. The statements are used, in conjunction with Knowledge Orgnisers, to set out the explicit learning objectives for each teaching sequence. These statements are used for both teachers to assess progress and for our children to self-assess as they reflect upon their learning. For more information, please click on the subject links below:
